VIVEKANAND AGRICULTURE COLLEGE The Vivekanand Agriculture College was established in the year 2003, at the holy place of Vivekanand Ashram, Hiwara Bk, Mehkar, Dist: Buldana,444301.The founder of this college is saint "Shri Swami Shukdas Maharaj". This college is Affiliated to Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV) Akola. The Buldana district is a part of the backward regions of the maharashtra, which was largely rainfed area with lack of modern agricultural technology and the awareness among the farmers. The Farmers generally relied on the crops like jowar, cotton and pulses only. The yeild levels too were very low. Lately, an oilseed crop of soybean have been replaced the cotton and jowar on the large scale.
